Phylum Euglenophyta

Phylum Euglenophyta is a phylum of Kingdom Protista. The defining characteristics of Phylum Euglenophyta are movement by flagella, live in aquatic habitats, and do not have a cell wall, but have a defined shape. Some are heterotrophic while others have chlorphyll a and chlorophyll b, and can produce energy by photosynthesis, making these organisms autotrophic. An example of an organism of Phylum Euglenophyta is Euglena gracilis.
