Phylum Bryophyta is a phylum of Kingdom Plantae. The organisms of this phylum are lacking roots, leaves and stems. Common names of plants in Phylum Bryophyta are moss, hornworts, and liverworts respectively. They are found where there in moist or wet environments because they are nonvascular organisms.
